Shane Tapert is a Construction Management Professional, with over Thirty years of diverse construction and project management experience. He has experience managing construction of many building types including residential, multi-family, industrial, commercial, healthcare, educational and faith-based facilities.

Shane is personally involved in providing executive support throughout the life cycle of each CPM project, encompassing pre-construction planning and design with the client and project team, to construction feasibility, monitoring cost and schedule, through the client obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy. His proficiency in managing multiple tasks enables him to oversee a number of projects throughout various stages of development and construction.

Ryan Tapert

Ryan joined the CPM team in 2013 as a field crew / site manager, bringing 10 years of seasonal experience in the commercial and residential construction industry. He quickly stepped into a leadership role helping execute and direct many of our field crew members, while working side by side with them on a variety of projects.

In 2014 Ryan accepted a position at another local GC and spent the next 3 years in the roles of Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Estimating Coordinator and eventually as the IT Manager. Ryan returned to CPM in 2017 and brought along with him his knowledge and experience with technology and administration to help inject a fresh set of systems, processes and techniques to truly help CPM stand out from the rest of the crowded construction landscape in Snohomish County.

In addition to his 15+ years of construction experience, Ryan brings an additional 15+ years of technology and marketing experience to the team as he heads up our business development, marketing and IT efforts.

Chris joined the CPM team in 2019 as our Sr. Project Manager, bringing 25+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry ranging from Owner Representative/Construction Project Management to projects with local jurisdictions, public schools and private sector TI’s ranging from unique boutiques to high-rises.

Chris has successfully completed the development, and management of many public and private commercial projects working side-by-side with stakeholders, agencies and owners which include but not limited to historic renovations, retail, restaurants, casino’s, healthcare, hotels, childcare in both vacant and occupied spaces.

Rachel joined the CPM team in August of 2020, fulfilling a role of project engineer as she supports our project managers on our GC jobs and is assisting with our SPD department on site walks, estimating and overall administrative tasks. Rachel has over a decade of experience in commercial and residential project management and can spot on site superintendents when the need arises.

Shane has recently joined the CPM team and has assumed the role of Dir. of Pre-Construction. Shane has 30+ years of experience as a commercial, industrial, public works and residential estimator, project manager, construction manager, machine operator and business owner, with an emphasis on and specializing in civil/earthwork construction and land development.

Shane will be key to CPM’s growth in the years to come. He currently oversees all estimating employees and activities.

Having maintained a 30-year career as a professional drummer, Bryon saw an opportunity when the housing market collapsed in 2008. Bryon quickly established his own real estate company and began repairing and selling bank-owned properties. After repairing and selling over 200 hundred assets in a 7-year span, he accepted a role at CPM and moved into construction estimating full time.

He has since grown into and is flourishing in the Lead Estimator role having now estimated millions of dollars-worth of commercial, residential and multi-family projects for CPM for the past 6 years.

Riley joined the CPM team in 2018 as a Project/Estimating Coordinator. His responsibilities include helping source subcontractor coverage and administrating the entire bid solicitation process. In addition to his pre-construction duties, Riley helps assist our project management team by overseeing and executing all construction administrative tasks.

He bring 4+ years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry. Working with knowledge and experience as a licensed Real Estate Broker, specializing in Snohomish County Retail/Office/Industrial based clientele. He also comes to CPM with a Facility Management background as he previously helped streamline on-demand work orders as well as preventative maintenance processes for various clients nationwide.

In addition to his time working at Coast companies, Riley brings 2+ years of Residential Real Estate leasing and marketing experience from his time spent in San Diego, CA after graduating from Washington State University in 2012.

Jody recently joined the CPM team to assume the role of controller. A Bellevue College graduate with a accounting degree, she brings 23 years of construction industry related accounting experience to our team and is certified in Sage 300 and Quickbooks Enterprise. For a company that pushes out north of 300 invoices a month and has 30+ employees, Jody’s skillset was a must have as the company has evolved and grown over the past few years. Her experience and knowledge will bring clear leadership and direction for our accounting department.

Jody currently provides Corporate Accounting/Finance management, HR administration, oversees payroll.

Rachel Daniels

Kim joined CPM in 2015 bringing over 25 years’ experience in the accounting field. 10 years working in Public Accounting exposed her to a multitude of clients and industries. When she moved to the PNW in 2001, she spent 14 years working for a Seattle Telecommunication Consulting Firm.  There she continued to grow her career up to the Accounting Manager position as the company grew from a $2M revenue to $10M company.

Kim manages all incoming GC project invoices, work orders, and accounts payable.

Rachel, a Snohomish native, graduated from Washington State University in 2012 (Go Cougs!) with a BA degree in Apparel Merchandising. After spending 5 years in the retail & sales industry, she decided to make a career shift. Rachel initially joined the CPM team in 2015 as a project & accounting administrator, but has recently been elevated to the assume the role of Accounting and Office Manager. During her time at CPM, she has participated in creating new initiatives and processes to assist with productivity and work flow in the accounting office.

Rachel often utilizes her experience in sales and customer service to engage with CPM clients. Rachel manages all incoming work orders, accounts payable, credit accounts, payroll and insurance.

John came to CPM in 2016 with already having 25+ years of facilities maintenance experience for other respected firms in the Seattle area. He quickly became our lead building engineer, working on and with our top portfolios and clients. He also took on the role of trainer for all new hires in there FM portfolio. 

Recently, after acquiring a new large client, we decided to bring John onto the management team to help us run, manage, and execute all aspects of our Facilities Maintenance division, in tandem in Joshua.

Josh has been with CPM since June of 2019, initially as the front desk/office administrator and accounting assistant. In 2020, after the retirement of our long-standing Director of Facilities Maintenance, his role was elevated to Facilities Portfolio Manager.

He is the gate keeper for all scheduling and invoicing of our Facility Maintenance team, which includes 10 technicians and their vehicles, processing about $2-3M in revenue a year and roughly 30-50 invoices a day.

Chris joined the CPM in 2021. All three of our divisions continue to see growth, and Chris jumped at the chance to help fill a need in our accounting department as our billing services coordinator. A recent graduate of South Eastern University in FL with a degree in business management, Chris is a Snohomish native who grew up working in his families accounting/bookkeeping business, so he already knew a thing or two about numbers.

As a high school and colligate athlete, Chris also know the value of hard work and we are very grateful to have him on our team and will continue to give him every opportunity to grow in his skills and knowledge.

Becca has been apart of the CPM in a support role off and on since day 1. She is the key to our brand and makes sure we all look good! with a Bachelors Degrees in graphic design, in addition to owning her own branding/design/photography business, she takes on everything you see online and in print.

She currently oversee our website, social media pages, jobsite photos & videos, print materials and vehicle logos.
