Wendy’s is one of the world’s largest quick-service restaurant (QSR) brands and a major player in the global fast-food industry. Founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas in Columbus, Ohio, the company built its reputation on fresh, never-frozen beef, square hamburger patties, and signature items like the Frosty. Today, Wendy’s continues to expand through partnerships with experienced franchise groups, focusing on consistency, efficiency, and a high-quality customer experience. These priorities drive strict corporate design and construction standards, especially for new ground-up builds like the Monroe, Washington location developed for the state’s largest Wendy’s franchisee.
CPM was selected as the general contractor for this new Monroe location, bringing both local expertise and proven experience in QSR construction. As a Snohomish-based contractor, CPM leveraged its familiarity with regional permitting processes, municipal requirements, and trusted subcontractor networks to streamline the project from start to finish. Located on a prominent site along US-2, the ground-up development included full site work, utility installation, and construction of Wendy’s latest national prototype—designed to support high-throughput drive-thru service with modern branding and finishes.
From site development through final delivery, CPM managed a full interior buildout that included commercial kitchen systems, dining areas, and franchise-specific design elements. Despite permitting challenges and weather-related delays, the team maintained schedule alignment through close coordination with local agencies and the owner’s representative. The result is a high-performing restaurant that meets both Wendy’s national standards and the demands of the local market, delivered on time and on budget—reflecting CPM’s commitment to quality, precision, and dependable execution.
